Yes. Every event gets a custom direction shaped around your room, your must-plays, and the people on the floor.
Can Proud cover more than the reception?
Yes. Ceremony and cocktail-hour sound can be added, along with uplighting, photo booth, hosting, and special effects.
What happens if there’s an emergency?
Your date is protected. A trusted fellow DJ — someone I hand my own rooms to — can step in with your full plan in hand, so your night never goes without music.
Will you dress for the room?
Always. My team and I show up dressed appropriately for your event — suit and tie when the room calls for it, because presentation is part of the package.
Do you travel?
Proud Entertainment is based in New Jersey and serves events across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

12+ months out: Lock your date — prime Saturdays go first, and a 25% retainer holds it.
6 months out: Open your planning portal and start your must-play list.
3 months out: Sketch the timeline — introductions, first dance, toasts, and special moments.
1 month out: Lock your do-not-play list and any must-hear dedications.
2 weeks out: Confirm vendor arrival times and the room layout with your venue.
1 week out: Final call with Barry — we walk the whole night, minute by minute.
Day of: We arrive early, sound-check the room, and coordinate with your planner and photographer.
